  2. iremembertapes. are a drummerless rock band that sounds like Duran Duran meeting
Joy Division in a disco full of lasers. Last year the band’s self-release EP
“All I Know” sold out within months, and now they up the ante with “Gossip”, the
first single taken from their forthcoming debut album “Human Architecture”.

Here’s the video for Gossip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppYE51c5cjA

It would be great to have your support! Let me know if you want the MP3.

  3. To the Staff of Indie Rebellion,

I thought the readers of your website might enjoy the newest music video/mp3 by the Oakland band, Kapowski.
Press Release for “Section 8” Music Video by Kapowski:

    Press Contact: Hart Perez

    Email: hartperez@perezbros.com

The Perez Brothers (www.perezbros.com) proudly present the indie rock sounds of Kapowski in their new music video “Section 8,” off of their upcoming album Boy Detective (set for release on February 2, 2012).

    Kapowski’s Website: http://flavors.me/kapowski#bda/youtube

Based out of Oakland California, the Kapowski’s “Section 8” features stuttering drums, a spry bass line, a scratchy organ and a mesmeric piano line that sets the foundation for Jesse Rimler’s (lead vocals) wistful lyrics.

Filmed on location in Oakland, along with additional footage shot in the tiny town of Carpinteria, the video for “Section 8” was inspired by the futuristic tone of the track. Pulling from their love of classic cinema, the Perez Brothers have described the film as a, “Melancholy homage to Woody Allen’s Sleeper.”

I thought the readers of your website might enjoy the newest music video by the San Francisco band, Ash Reiter.
Press Release for “Heatwave” Music Video by Ash Reiter:

    Press Contact: Hart Perez

Keep warm this winter with the latest music video from the Perez Brothers (www.perezbros.com) and Ash Reiter in their new music video “Heatwave.” The song is the first single off of Reiter’s EP also entitled Heatwave, now available on iTunes.

    Ash Reiter’s website: http://ashreiter.bandcamp.com/

From the sunny coast of California, Ash Reiter’s new EP playfully combines indie pop reverb and beach rock harmonies, which makes “Heatwave” a fun song to listen to all year long.

Filmed on location in Oakland, “Heatwave” serves as yet another entertaining example of the “suburban surrealist” vision of the Perez Brothers. Combing the fantastical elements of a magic genie with the cheerfulness of a nostalgic ice cream man, the video for “Heatwave” will keep you entertained from start to finish.

  8. To the Awesome Staff of Indie Rebellion,

It’s Hart Perez of the Perez Bros! And I thought the readers of your website might enjoy the newest music video by the Oakland band, Tremor Low.

Press Release for “Kingmaker” Music Video by Tremor Low:

Brace yourself for the brand new horror/music video from Tremor Low and the Perez Brothers in their latest visualization for the single “Kingmaker.”

    Tremor Low’s website: http://tremorlow.com/

“Kingmaker” is the first single from Tremor Low’s latest EP (also entitled Kingmaker), which was produced by the legendary engineer Jamie Hill (Jens Lekman, Nada Surf). An unsubtle recording, each song is delivered in the most urgent fashion, swooning through stories of loss, lust, vengeance, and greed.
Complimenting the gothic tone of the song, the Perez Brothers (www.perezbros.com) have crafted a twisted, psychological horror film, which they have described as, “A Freudian reimaging of The Exorcist.” Watch it if you dare!

    Music Video Link:

We hope that you enjoy the film and feel free to share it with your friends, family, and twitter followers.

    Thank you.

    Best,

    Hart
